Springsure Rural Pty Ltd began trading on 1st July 2014, when Paul and Judy Acutt purchased Springsure Rural Traders, a long-standing business that had been operating on the same site for nearly 40 years. With an already successful rural merchandise store in Alpha, Paul and Judy brought their experience and passion for rural communities to Springsure.

The store is now managed by their daughter Krystie and her husband Chris, who bring both hands-on experience and professional know-how to the day-to-day operations. Chris, originally from New Zealand, has a strong background in dairy farming and has worked across Australia in the stockfeed and rural fencing supply industries. Krystie holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness from the University of Queensland and has worked in various sales and logistics roles with rural merchandise wholesalers and stockfeed companies.​
